writing stuff

My message to aspiring writers is that writing for children is both a profession and a journey. Don’t quit your day job, but don’t drop your dreams either. Even when life is overwhelming, you can still find few moments in the day to hone your craft. But you can’t wait on your muse to show up. You either have to hunt her down or just get started on your own.Sometimes it may seem like you are taking two steps forward and three steps back, but as long as you are focused on moving ahead, you are still making progress. Nobody went from playing scales to performing at Carnegie hall overnight. Patience, grasshopper.

Here are a few of my favorite sites for writers.
